Call for Abstracts

Authors are invited to submit original research, systematic reviews, quality improvement projects, policy evaluations, implementation studies, and innovative practice related to the conference themes.

Submission Guidelines & Format

Please review the requirements below carefully before submitting. Abstracts that do not comply with the guidelines may be rejected.

Eligibility

  • Abstracts must present original work that has not been previously published as a full paper (previous conference presentations are acceptable if disclosed).
  • All submissions must be written in English or Arabic.
  • The presenting author is responsible for ensuring that all co-authors have reviewed and approved the submission.
  • Research involving human participants or animals must have received appropriate ethical approval where applicable.

Abstract Format

Structure the abstract using the following headings:

Background Objectives Methods Results Conclusion

For qualitative studies, implementation projects, or policy research, alternative structured headings may be accepted where appropriate.

Abstract Components

  • Title (maximum 25 words)
  • Authors and affiliations
  • Presenting author
  • Corresponding author email
  • Abstract text
  • 3–5 keywords
  • Track selection
  • Preferred presentation format
  • Declaration of conflicts of interest
  • Ethical approval statement (if applicable)
  • Funding source (if applicable)

Formatting Requirements

  • Standard scientific abbreviations only.
  • Avoid references, tables, and figures.
  • Generic drug names should be used where possible.

Authors should submit their abstracts under one of the following conference tracks.

Late submissions may not be accepted.

Presentation Formats

During submission, authors may indicate their preferred presentation format. The Scientific Committee reserves the right to make the final allocation.

Oral Presentation

  • 8–10 minute presentation
  • 2–5 minute discussion
  • Selected based on scientific quality and relevance

Poster Presentation

  • Printed poster displayed throughout the conference
  • Dedicated poster viewing and discussion sessions

Electronic Poster (E-Poster)

  • Digital poster displayed on conference screens
  • Available for on-demand viewing by delegates

Presenter Registration Policy

Registration Requirements

  • At least one author must register for the conference by the presenter registration deadline for the abstract to be included in the scientific programme and conference proceedings.
  • A single registration may cover up to two accepted abstracts, provided the registrant is the presenting author for both.
  • Presenting authors are responsible for their own travel, accommodation, and visa arrangements unless otherwise notified.
  • Registration fees are not waived for abstract presenters.
  • Invited keynote speakers and officially invited faculty receive complimentary conference registration.

Additional Policies

  • All abstracts undergo double-blind peer review by members of the Scientific Committee.
  • Acceptance is based on scientific quality, originality, relevance, and clarity.
  • Accepted abstracts may be published in the conference proceedings.
  • The Scientific Committee reserves the right to reject abstracts that do not comply with submission guidelines or ethical standards.
  • The Committee also reserves the right to reassign abstracts to a more appropriate track or presentation format based on reviewer recommendations.
